We produced this for our most recent "body-off_frame" project and it works great!  On that install, we used trim adhesive under a 2" area to hold the strip in place during assembly.  Under the rest of the strip we applied rubberized undercoat for rust prevention.    Another great method is just to use adhesive under the foam, then overcoat the assembly completely with rubberized undercoat.  Since it is precut, the install is so easy!
